NOOOO!!! Summer don't go!!!!!!!!!!

Can it be true the summer is almost over??  I’m not ready to go back to work!!!   I just realized next week is my last full week of vacation….…. NOOO!!!!   NOOOO!!!!  I’m not ready to pack lunches, get outfits pressed at night ,work on homework, do laundry at 8:00 at night… etc…..  I want to sit on my back porch..bbq and swim for a little while longer….   I love being a teacher with summers off.. but it’s dangerous… I get that little taste of being home.. and suddenly start to say things like…  Damn why did I marry for love???//In my next life I’ll marry wealthy….

I think my Mother is ready for me to go back to work though.  (as most of you know Me-Ma watches my kids while I’m at work..) She can’t wait to start watching the kids again and get me out of her way…
“These kid are off the f’n hook..” she shouted at me yesterday as my one kid ran by with no clothes and the other with a bucket on his head…

AHHHH  Summer you will be missed!!!!

I love Me-Ma. I don't know her, but I just know I would love her.

I was a teacher for 17 years and those summers were wonderful. After the kids were grown and gone, I left teaching to work in the business world--no more summers off. Now, however, I'm retired! Year-round off!

Awww...but at least you get X-mas and Thanksgiving break off, right? Then there's Spring break, then SUMMER!!!! ;) I'm sure the school year will fly by. ;)

I can't believe it either. My daughter will start 5/day Pre-K at the local elem. school soon. She did 3/day Pre-School at a private school last year. I think I'm more nervous than she is.

Thanks for following, following you back.
